Local residents and business owners
Benefits to you
Project Neon is being designed to improve local circulation and access. This project will expand capacity on I-15 from Sahara to the Spaghetti Bowl Interchange and provide nterchange improvements, enhancements to Collector-Distributor (CD) roads (similar to a freeway frontage road), and upgrades to local utility, roadway, and flood control facilities will allow improved access to and from area residences and businesses.
Phase 1 Right-of-Way
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is initiating Phase I of Project Neon. Through the end of 2012, one of the main areas of focus in Project neon will be on property acquisition. Under the Uniform Act, the NDOT Right-of-Way Division will ensure that affected property owners receive fair market value for any acquired property. Benefits of the approved alternative include fewer business displacements and property acquisitions, resulting in substantially reduced right-of-way requirements.
