What is Project Neon?
The Nevada Department of Transportation's Project Neon is a freeway improvement project that will address the short- and long-term transportation needs for a portion of the I-15 corridor.

Where's the project area?
The Project Neon corridor generally extends along I-15 from Sahara to the US95/I-15 (Spaghetti Bowl) interchange. Neighboring projects (these links leave this website): I-15 South Design-Build, I-515 Project

Project objectives:
Improving traffic operations, improving safety by addressing congestion-related incidents, providing better access to area neighborhoods and businesses, and providing a connection between the proposed High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on I-15 and the High Occupancy Vehicle lanes on US 95.

What's the latest?
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is initiating Phase I of Project Neon. Through the end of 2012, the focus will be on property acquisition and major utility relocations. Learn more by visiting our new Phase 1 and Right-of-Way pages.
